Staff is friendly and helpful. The ice cream parlor is outstanding. Looking forward to trying all the different flavors. Especially like the Red Velvet Cake ice cream.
On our way to Stowe we stopped in to pass some time. Absolutely the best two handed sandwiches we had in a long time. Made to order with fresh cut deli meat. Friendly owner and clean bathrooms. There was ample seating but we took our lunch to the park across the street. Did not try the ice cream.

The store was better years ago. The owner is a jerk and I will share that with EVERYONE I know. I won't share the whole story on here. All you need to know is that I called to speak with him over an incident and all he did was lie. So sad, I used to bring my friends and family who visited from out of state to the store...but never again. It's overpriced and trashy anyhow.
The Belmont General Store is what makes small town America great. It has an historic hometown feel, ice cream bar and everything you need in one place. The staff was exceptionally nice. Well worth a trip to check this place out!
